Member Institutions and Programs

Our Member Institutions

Since 1992, the GCWS has brought together scholars from member institutions for fruitful collaborations across many disciplines.  Nine local universities participate as members of the GCWS, collaborating, sharing resources, and creating intellectual community that advances the study of women and gender; strengthens and supports faculty research and teaching; and enriches graduate education for student in a wide range of fields.

GCWS Member Institution programs in Women, Gender, and Sexuality:
The life force of the GCWS consists of the programs in women, gender, and sexuality at its member institutions. These programs supply faculty members  to our Board of Directors, supports the feminist community on each individual campus, and promotes work in the field among their students and faculty which, in turn, electrifies our intiatives and course offerings. These member institution programs are:
