Displaying Math on the Web

There are various ways to include mathematical equations in web-published documents; these notes aim to provide samples of display methods in wide use today, basic information on using the associated tools, and a comparative overview of the different approaches. The final section includes pointers to additional alternatives and information on ongoing developments toward integrated web publishing of mathematical content.
