Alsos Digital Library For Nuclear Issues
Affiliated with the NSF's National Science Digital Library (NSDL), this site offers annotated lists (organized by topics, places, and notable figures) of books, articles, videos, and websites. The resources were selected by Professor Frank Settle of Washington and Lee University's Department of Chemistry and reviewed by members of the Alsos National Advisory Board (which includes scholars and other professionals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences).

Atomic Archive
The online companion to the CD-ROM "Atomic Archive: Enhanced Edition" from AJ Software and Multimedia includes an impressive set of resources, including biographies, primary source documents and photos, a timeline, and scientific explanations.

Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History: Atomic Age
In addition to a brief historical overview of "the Atomic Age," this resource guide from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History offers links to an online textbook chapter, primary source material, teaching resources, and multimedia.

National Atomic Museum
Chartered by Congress and operated by Sandia National Laboratories for the Department of Energy, this museum aims to "serve as America's museum resource for nuclear history and science." Its website's "Virtual Tour" offers brief online exhibits on arms control, the history of America's nuclear weapons from the Manhattan Project to present, and other topics.

Trinity Atomic Web Site
Although not a scholarly production, this web site presents an interesting collection of primary source documents covering a wide range of topics in American nuclear history, including the Trinity explosion, the atomic bombings of Japan, nuclear atmospheric testing, civil defense, and radiation accidents. The site is hosted by the Center for Digital Discourse and Culture at Virginia Tech.
