C. The use of implanted electrode arrays


Several solutions might be considered to circumvent this problem. One is to use unequally spaced electrode arrays that counteract the magnification factor. An example of such an array appears in Figure 4 . While the size of the image created at each individual electrode tip depends on its cortical position, the overall activation of the display now more accurately represents the visual image recorded by the camera.
