Nazario Lopez

Nazario is a postdoc in the Cummins group. Nazario joined the Cummins group after completing his Ph.D. studies on molecular magnets and conductors under the direction of Professor Kim R. Dunbar at Texas A&M University. In collaboration with former Ph.D. student Glen E. Alliger, Nazario is investigating the binding of small molecules, such as peroxide, to monometallic complexes of hexacarboxamide cryptands. Nazario is also studying the chemistry of peroxide hexacarboxamide cryptand adducts. Nazario is originally from Mexico and loves the sea.
