Elijah is a senior from New York City. He is studying math and computer science in hopes of being a teacher someday. He spends his time curating the best music taste in the world, obsessing over puzzle games, and playing lots of Smash Bros. In CoMM, he's focused on getting underrepresented voices heard in the math department.

Her hobbies include painting, cooking, and playing Stardew Valley with her friends. She joined CoMM to help amplify minority voices in the math department, as well as help first years adjust to life at MIT.

Hi! I'm a junior studying math and philosophy. I'm originally from California. My academic interests right now include information theory, algebra, theory of language, and climate modeling. Outside of thinking about math, Jemma is member of MIT's Varsity Sailing Team, Alpha Chi Omega, and enjoys rock climbing, lifting, running, and baking. As a member of CoMM, Jemma wants to advocate for the undergraduate perspective and make sure undergraduates of all backgrounds feel supported and included in the math department.

Shiqi is a freshman looking to double major in 18 and 6-3. She's from Illinois (yep, the state that contains Chicago) and loves to play viola, read books, and play card games. She lives in New Vassar and spends a indeterminate amount of time goofing off in her lounge. As a part of CoMM, Shiqi hopes to contribute to the various projects CoMM works on and generally improve the environment of course 18!
