The Presidential Transition Advisory Cabinet

Announcing the PTAC Public Report

The Presidential Transition Advisory Cabinet has now released its final report to the public. The report is the conclusion of a six month process of engaging the community and reviewing key documents to provide President Reif with an up-to-date student perspective on MIT’s direction.

We thank the community for its support and look forward to the launch of the new Presidential Advisory Cabinet (PAC), which will build on our work beginning in Summer 2013.

The Presidential Transition Advisory Cabinet (PTAC), composed of students from around the Institute, has been charged with providing advice and student perspective to MIT’s 17th President, L. Rafael Reif, as he develops a vision for the Institute’s future.

During our 6-month process we will cover several topics, which are listed on the Themes page. To provide your thoughts, click on the Feedback tab at the top of this page. On this form, you will have as much, or as little, space as you need to get your voice heard on several umbrella topics having to do with education at MIT. After submitting your responses, you will have the option of being contacted by a PTAC member to follow up with you and get your input on other PTAC initiatives.

Thank you in advance for your time, energy, and guidance in offering the student perspective. We will be turning to you several times in the months ahead, and hope we can join together in shaping the future direction of the Institute.
