Lincoln Laboratory

MIT's Lincoln Laboratory, located in Lexington, Massachusetts, is a federally funded research and development center focused on applying advanced technology to problems of national security. Lincoln Laboratory's core competencies are in sensors, information extraction (signal processing and embedded computing), communications and cyber security, integrated sensing, and decision support. The lab is engaged in developing and field-testing prototypes, and emphasizes the transition of technologies to industry. Approximately 3,220 MIT employees work at Lincoln Laboratory.
