An award for Distributors of African Film would probably be of great
psychological encouragement to distributors of African film who often have
a thankless task.

I think all distributors should be looked at, including those who are well
funded, in all countries. I would suggest two categories:
1. Distributor who has contributed most to public awareness of African
product in Africa
2. Distributor who has contributed most to public awareness of African
product outside Africa.

It may also be important to distinguish between TV, cine, fiction, non
fiction.

Cash is probably the award most appreciated. But even if no cash or kind
prize can be obtained, I'm sure that distributors would appreciate
recognition.
