Registration for Nationals is $250 per two-person team.
Teams that choose to stay on MIT’s campus or find their own accommodation rather than staying in the tournament hotel will receive a $100 discount.

APDA judges may attend for $125 each
Judges that choose to stay on MIT’s campus or find their own accommodation rather than staying in the tournament hotel will receive a $50 discount. In addition, “dinos” (judges who have debated on APDA for at least two years and have not debated at all during the 2007-2008 academic year) may attend for free.

Observers may attend for free
Observers are not eligible for housing, food, or entertainment at the tournament.

Additional discounts will be negotiated based strictly on need
Please email Sharmin Karim at sharmink@mit.edu if registration fees after housing discounts are prohibitive for your team.

Standard hotel rooms are quad-occupancy
Debaters who wish to room with only a single other person in the hotel must pay $125 each. (This fee is high because it is the only one that isn’t subsidized.)

Checks should be made out to MIT Debate Team.
Cash will also be accepted.

Payment must be made in full on Friday, April 18.
Teams that fail to pay are invited to watch the tournament as spectators and find their own housing, food, and entertainment. Exceptions will only be granted for teams that “qual” debaters less than two weeks before Nationals.
