When should I register?
Schools that register after March 25 will incur a $100 late fee. Registration will not be accepted after April 8.
Exceptions are made to this deadline and fee for teams that “qual” debaters for Nationals after March 25.
When should I arrive on April 18?
Plan to arrive in Cambridge no later than 3:30 PM. Allow time for travel delays.
What arrangements are being made for Passover?
Passover begins the night of Saturday, April 19. There will be arrangements for attendees to attend a Seder, either at the tournament or locally, and Kosher-for-Passover food options will be provided Sunday as well.
Additionally, some debaters may not wish to decide between debating and being with their family on Passover. To facilitate both, parents will be allowed to watch all rounds at the tournament, and parents may also book rooms at the tournament under a discounted rate of $50 per person per night (quad-occupancy). Note that there are a limited number of rooms available at this rate; if you would like your family to stay at the tournament hotel, you must email Adam Goldstein (agoldste@mit.edu) by April 1.
