- TG:
- There are a variety of dining options here and MIT tries to make
sure that you are satisfied with the food here. There are also outdoor vendors
called the food trucks and people often get a cheap lunch here.
[Two workers enter, carrying a prop truck (?) and a sign reading
"Poisonberries". A line of students quickly forms in front of them.]
- W1:
- MAIHAPYOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
- W2:
- Gau? ONE GAU! Sree Dollah!! MAIHAPYOOOO!!!
[Fist person in line looks stunned, typical styrofoam box is
pushed into her hands. Truck goes off stage and the line of people
chase after it.]
- W1:
- [From offstage] MAIHAPYOOOOO!!!
[Props for Walker come on stage, including a table, with a
cash register on it. Seated behind the table is an ARAMARK
cashier.]
- TG:
- Of course, the MIT cafeterias offer a much better quality
meal. This is Walker Memorial, one of the more popular dining halls.
We're catered by a very respectable Food Service company called
ARAMARK. Our newest feature here is the Pan-Asian Cuisine - you can
select from a variety of exotic sauces and ingredients to create your
own Asian delight!!
[Enter a student, carrying a tray of food.]
- Cashier:
- That'll be $ 4.50.
- Student:
- [Pulling out his MIT card and noticing something
in his food.] Hey, what's this?! Look, there's a worm in my corn!!
- Cashier:
- Oh, you're right. That'll be $ 5.00 then. Extra
protein, you know.
- TG:
- [as if nothing has happened] We make sure our students eat
well balanced meals here.
[Tour people look sick, clutch their stomachs, cover their mouths.]
- TG:
- We're walking ...we're walking ...
