Stip Records and The Hammond Group were formed in late 2005 by a
team of seasoned professionals committed to the delivery of
excellence-focused rock and roll solutions.
Playing "middle-aged surf punk for the 21st century,"
The Hammond Group has recently brought its formidable songwriting
skills and spirited musicianship to performances at the Linwood Grill in Boston,
Club Bohemia at the Cantab in Cambridge, and Somervillebs
Kirkland CafC) and Abbey Lounge. In early 2007, the Group released
its debut CD,
"Product Launch" and in 2008 released "Mean Business."
