Group's homepage! Our experimental cosmology and astrophysics
laboratory is part of the
MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space
Research and the
MIT physics department. Our
inter-disciplinary work takes us into the fields of particle
physics, astrophysics and cosmology, solid-state and
low-temperature physics, and engineering of space flight
hardware and large cryogenic systems.
We are currently developing cryogenic particle and photon
detectors for dark matter searches and X-ray astrophysics
applications. Our goal is to conceive, develop, and carry out
cutting-edge experiments to gain insights into the nature of
our universe.
