Core C: Analytical Glycotechnology
Scientfic Objective: Profiling and characterization of glycan structures that are isolated from different cell and tissue types. Characterization of carbohydrate structures synthesized by Core D to confirm structure and purity
Operations involving Central Database:
Data entry
Edit entry
Finalize data
Search and display data
Confirm Core D structure
Core B is working with the Core Directors to finalize and implement the above operations and more. Please revisit this site soon to check out the new functions
Data sets: Graphical and notational representation of carbohydrate structures, figures and tables pertaining to analytical experiments, description of methods/protocols. Relationship between datasets have to be clearly established via a discussion involving Core C and Core B.
Identifiers: The primary identifier for Core C
data is Carb ID . Other identifiers
include Carbohydrate Analytical Experiment ID, Protocol ID,
Sample ID (for cell and tissue samples)
