This class provides an introduction to the field of positive psychology. It is a new field of science that studies subjective well-being, human strengths and virtues and how to become happier. Practical applications of positive psychology aim to increase subjective quality of life and to promote personal development.

Klara Andreasson has a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Skövde, Sweden. Since August 2013, she has lived in Boston with her boyfriend who is a Ph.D. student at MIT.
