About IAP : How to Propose Listings
IAP non-credit activities are posted via the IAP Non-Credit Activity posting system. In the system, users may propose a new non-credit activity, or edit a previously proposed activity. Activities approved and listed in prior years may also be renewed and updated for the current IAP, via the "rollover" option.
NOTE: IAP for-credit subjects are posted through the MIT Registrar.
Before you start:
- You need a MIT certificate to access the IAP posting system. Certificates can be obtained through the MIT IS&T website.
- You must be authorized as an IAP Coordinator in these systems in order to post listings on behalf of your department or group. Check the IAP Coordinators by Sponsor list to make sure you are listed as a sponsor representative for your area. If you are not listed, contact iap-www@mit.edu, or call x3-1668.
- MIT Community members posting activities as individuals and not in affiliation with a department or group do not need to be listed on the IAP Coordinators by Sponsor page.
