Write two essays on a technical or scientific topic. Aim the first essay at a peer, that is, a classmate majoring in your subject. Aim the second essay at Simon, who has a doctorate in English from Harvard. Simon doesn't know much math.

Each essay should be about 250 words long. Each essay counts as a separate grade.
