Deliver a two-to-three minute speech on a technical or scientific topic. Your classmates are the intended audience for this speech.

You can use notes, though many students in past terms chose not to. I will provide a makeshift rostrum, but don't feel obligated to use it; move around the room if you like.

You must rely only on the power of your voice and your body language. You cannot do the following:

• Write on the board.
• Distribute hand-outs.
• Use models.
• Display overheads.

This is a casual party; don't bother getting dressed up.
