MIT ANTI-WAR COALITION |
In response to a recent $50 million grant from the US Army to MIT's Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology, a graduation day hack re-named the school the 'Military Institute of Technology'. Students noted that ISN's mission of "outfitting the soldier of the future" stood in stark contrast to the Bush Administration's abandonment of the soldiers of the past--the President's 2004 budget to Congress cut veterans' benefits as many of our nation's veterans are homeless and in need of assistance.
The June 9th hack reiterates the Anti-War Coalition's rallying cry, "We will not be cogs in the war machine!" See pictures from the Graduation Day Hack in Gallery. Questions about site? Contact Tam (doan at mit) |
