Prof. Alok Chakrabarti (New Jersey Institute of Technology), Research Affiliate

Alok Chakrabarti is Distinguished Professor and Foundation Chair in Management of Technology at New Jersey Institute of Technology where he served as the founding dean of the School of Management. He has degrees in engineering and business administration. He received his PhD in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences at Northwestern University and served on the faculty at RPI, Drexel University and DePaul University. He has also served as Visiting Professor at University Kiel and Helsinki University of Technology.

His research interests are in the area of technology management, productivity and economic development. He has published in many journals. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He was a Senior Fellow at the Industrial Performance Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001-2003.
