Rajesh Bhatt is affiliated with the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His research interests include syntax, semantics, modern Indo-Aryan languages, and tree adjoining grammars. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Recent publications include "The Raising Analysis of Relative Clauses: Evidence from Adjectival Modification," in Natural Language Semantics; "Locality in Correlativization," in Natural Language and Linguistic Theory; and (with Roumyana Pancheva) "Late Merger of Degree Clauses," in Linguistic Inquiry.
