Sharon Inkelas is Professor in the Department of Linguistics at UC Berkeley. Her research interests are phonology and morphology. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford in 1989. Some recent publications are (with Cheryl Zoll) Reduplication: Doubling in Morphology (Cambridge University Press); (with C. Orhan Orgun) “Turkish Stress: A Review,” in Phonology; and “J's Rhymes: A Longitudinal Case Study of Language Play,” in Journal of Child Language.
