Helped lead, design and develop the Kurogo 2 project from initial architecture proposals through the 2.0.0 release. Managed the Kurogo 2 project using agile methodologies in the role of Scrum Master. Ported complex user interfaces from Kurogo 1.8 to Kurogo 2, including modules for shuttle tracking, learning management systems and library catalogs. Documented the Kurogo 2 view and controller classes and worked on the overall structure of the developer documentation. Participated in the design and implementation of AJAX web applications in Java, XSLT, Freemarker, PHP and JavaScript including a list management application (MIT WebMoira), a financial reporting tool (RAFT) and a learning management system gradebook tool (Stellar Gradebook). Worked with MIT's Adaptive Technology Information Center to provide accessibility features for zoom and screen reader technologies using WAI-ARIA standards and custom JavaScript.
June 1997 – December 2008; Analyst Programmer
Participated in the design and development of Kerberos for Macintosh (KfM) for Mac OS 8, 9 and Mac OS X in C and C++. Worked with Apple, Inc. to include KfM in Mac OS X Puma (10.1) through Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6). Release engineer and lead developer for KfM 4.5 (Jaguar) through 6.5 (Snow Leopard). Designed and implemented a cross-platform Kerberos Identity Management API (KIMAPI). Designed and implemented Cocoa user interfaces for ticket acquisition (KerberosAgent) and ticket management (Kerberos.app). Assisted in the design of several Kerberos APIs including the Kerberos Login Library (KLL) and Credentials Cache API (CCAPI). Created SocketsLib, a lightweight BSD sockets shared library based on the Open Transport networking API.
