Mac OS X Ports |
We are currently working with the Arla Project to port Arla (a free AFS client) to Mac OS X Server. The userland daemon (arlad) has already been ported and can be tested by building the latest version of arla. We have ported the xfs kernel module and are currently debugging a few kernel panics (mostly on building large packages in AFS).
You can get the latest arla sources here.
krb5-current has been ported to Mac OS X Server. Instructions for obtaining and building kerberos 5 can be found here. While a version of Kerberos 5 v1.0 comes with Mac OS X Server, this version may be incompatible with more recent copies of Kerberos 5 and only contains binaries with encryption disabled.
We are no longer supporting our ssh patches to Mac OS X Server. I recommend trying SSH for Mac OS X from the Peanuts archive.
You will also need these supporting frameworks:
GMP.framework | (v >= 2.0.2.2) |
RSAref.framework | (v >= 2.0.0.2) |
TCPWrap.framework | (v >= 7.6.0.3) |
Zlib.framework | (v >= 1.1.2.1) |
You can get them here.
Currently we have only ported command line zephyr to Rhapsody DR2. We have patches, but do not plan to release them until we have a graphical client.
