What is the Kerberos Login Authenticator?How do I use the Kerberos Login Authenticator?The Kerberos Login Authenticator is a plug-in that allows you to use your Kerberos password in Mac OS X's login window, and obtain Kerberos tickets as you login.
Mac OS X 10.2 includes an entirely new Login Authenticator written by Apple. For information about the 10.2 authenticator, see Apple's documentation: Mac OS X 10.2: How to Enable Kerberos Authentication for Login Window. MIT does not provide documentation or support for the new Authenticator, please contact Apple if you have questions. The documentation here only applies to Mac OS X 10.1.

The Kerberos Login Authenticator was part of the Kerberos included with Mac OS X 10.1. It is also included with Kerberos for Macintosh 4.0.x for Mac OS X 10.1.
