MITACF is a community of students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology devoted to demonstrating the realness of God in all that we do, living out the connection between faith and daily living.

We strive to grow in faith by focusing on three key relationships: our personal relationship with God, our relationships with one another, and our relationship to the campus and the world. For our personal growth, we rely on the authority of God's Word and believe in the power of Prayer to change our lives. Within our fellowship, we try to build friendships that are based on love and reconciliation. Lastly, our desire is to be a light on the MIT campus and in the world by engaging in Outreach and Social Justice issues. You can learn more about our purpose as it is written in our Constitution below.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of MITACF is to establish, assist, and encourage students who attest the Lord Jesus Christ as God Incarnate. Our major objectives are:

  • To lead others to a personal faith in Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • To help Christians grow toward maturity as disciples of Christ through the study of the Bible, through prayer, and through Christian fellowship.
  • To present the call of God to the world mission of the Church, and to help students and faculty discover God's role for them.

Leadership Structure

ACF is a student-lead fellowship that is supported by a staff team trained by IVCF. Our leadership structure changes from year to year, but in general, three teams, Exec, Small Group Leaders, and Staff, have remained the same. There is an Exec team, composed of students, that leads the whole fellowship in carrying out the vision and goals for the year. We have a team of Small Group Leaders who lead the various small groups that meet weekly during the school term. We also have a great staff team who is there to teach us and support us in our walks with God. This year, we also have a Prayer team to pray for the needs of the fellowship and individuals who request prayer, as well as issues beyond our community.
