The records crab sends Oathar a note saying that the party is on the Frequent Donators List for Blinky 6066. The whole party is on the list. Bah!

Sigh, to make himself feel better, Oathar goes to the Great Library of Nomikos and studies the fall of Zor. There were three main dynasties that ruled Zor, the Lankor, the Xaon, and the Kitaan. The last rulers of Zor. The Kitaan line wanted power and technology as a tool to get it. When they united technology with magic, that was their undoing. Nikor was the penultimate king. Zor fell in 4980 SE. King of Rakhan at the time was Thaddeus II.

Griffin College was founded in 4800 SW by the refugees from Zor. Oathar will probably investigate that next.

Orhan 1 Day 23 TE 6066

Kyrik goes herb shopping and buys a bunch of berries and fruit and other healing herbs that don't require magic. Blinky shows up during shopping and demands a fate point from Kyrik. Kyrik does not pay. The shopkeeper call for the guards about a demon summoning. Kyrik leaves.

Kyrik goes to the herb source and finds an auction going on for prime Fang, Zoom, and Zap. He doesn't buy anything, since he doesn't know what any of it does.

Then he goes to Kaitaine to investigate cut repair berries there.

Haeraan goes to Nuyom Kom to borrow a general, to command some troops at Armageddon. Since we are short commanders for that.

Haeraan and Kyrik get together with Arisia to grow special herbs.

Haeraan talks to his contacts and says that 2000 lankani need swords and shields. Oathar puts people on it. Regular swords cost a gold, shields costs 7 silver.

Haeraan recruits 50 Pokanti guys. Oathar has to equip them from scratch.

Orhan 1 Day 25 TE 6066

Oathar goes to Griffen College. Oathar gets a book about the founding of the college. It was founded by Zorian refugees to an area just inside of Rakhaan, in what's now known as the ducy of Preven. Oathar reads the later writings of the younger founders. It was meant to be in opposition to the values of Zor, no technology purely for the grasping of power. They were the true heirs to the Griffins. The scouts and hunters who supported the college were named the Griffins. The Griffins reported that it was on Orhan 3 Day 8 4980 SE that the great flash was seen. He also finds out that their hopes had died when Nikor Kitaan (Faithful to the Griffin) was assassinated when he tried to return to the ways of the early kings.

In one of the histories it is note: "And yes, I found out about the secret meeting between the mage and the king. Clearly they were conspiring against the Empire, and there was talk of destruction and fleeing. With luck, someone will kill this mage before he poisons the ear of the king further."

Oathar goes to talk to Mornan Xaon. He tries to figure out the talking to the past from the farther past con. But it's a tricky one. There are certain things he could do as a legitimate king of Zor, but it's not something he could deligate to others. Hmm, Oathar goes off to ponder all this.

Orhan 1 Day 27 TE 6066

Current events. The mayor of Izar is proposing a set of reforms on the city council. He's attempting to go directly to the people to avoid the corrupt bureaucrats who are destroying their fair city. First Citizen Trask is mayor of Orian. The city council of Orian is dominated by his faction. The porn wars continue unabated with a giant statue of Kyrik set up at the main temple. Dynax has been cleaned up is some ways. The violent crime rate has gone down. The amount of moral crimes has gone through the roof. The economics have picked up. There are shows and entertainment clubs all over the place. Alynna suggests a drug trade might cut the porn wars down a little, or at least be very profitable. The Brotherhood of the Holy Word has opened up a chapterhouse there. They sell little blue pills. Then Alynna proposes a public casino house where all the dealers are wearing rings of truth.

Arisia determines that there have been some changes in the Sarnaki directorate, but there haven't been any overt military moves. they have purchased some ship recently. Ships that are easily reconfigured to moving troops.

Orhan 1 Day 28 TE 6066

Kyrik investigates Danarchan casinos hoping to get a business plan to replicate in Dynax. He hires Bugsy the casino manager. He starts setting up a class act. We'll also have to hire a lot of security. He hires an architect, and comission a place.
