Orhan 2 Day 37 TE 6064

Ivanova of the White Orchid returns and teleports us to one of the secret houses of the white orchid.

We meet with Sheridan. He tells us of the prophesies of the Wizard of Life. There are all sorts of prophesies.

"Elixir from the Well of Life". "Elixir from the Well of Power." "The center of the focus of storms or power."

Sheridan tells you the scraps of prophecy they have collected that they
believe relevant to finding the Wizard of Light:

"And the champion of light will be born on the night of despair, but
shall be opposed to its darkness." [They believe this means the Night
of the Third Moon.]

"The hope of good shall be newly given the responsibilities of life."
[They believe this means someone who had just reached adulthood.]

The two facts above provide a narrow window of candidates who were born
on the right day and are the right age. They've been actively gathering
together those that fit these criteria.

"The aspect shall be as a babe in the woods, innocent of power and
corruption. Their only sign will be the mark of the Secret Master."
[They believe that the candidate may not exhibit any magical powers or
such. They have no idea what the mark is, but figure that it must mean
some sort of distinctive birth mark or such.]

"The keys of the Champion shall be twofold: The Elixir of Power and the
Elixir of Life. The keys shall come from far away and be brought by
those not of the Land." [The PC's already have theories about this.]

"When the keys are brought before the Champion, a sign shall point to
the Center of Storms. The Champion shall have their true nature
activated by the keys at the Center." [They're not sure about this one.]

Sheridan says that Fayden Fae and Raeche have been well searched, so it's only in other places that the hidden dude might be.

Orhan 2 Day 38 TE 6064

Alynna turns into a Seer and dreams. Haeraan dreams too.

Alynna also throws her dreams to Oathar...

About the elixir of life, we see in the distance a thin beam of light coming down from the darkness and it hits a little thing which on zooming in turns out to be a drop of water falling down the pillar, where it hits a little flower. The drop of water hit sthe flower and slowly works it's way down before it falls to earth. This happens again and again. A very tall beam of light in a vast lonely cave.

Wondering what the white orchid is worrying about, we see a collection quest. Kill the blah spiders and collect 16 spider legs. But spiders don't seem to drop spider legs very often. Spiders are dropping everywhere, but none are dropping. The spider population is toast. Every spider in the zone is dead. Still not enough legs though. Maybe the next zone over.

Wondering what Sheridan is wrong about, we see a whole family gathered in a house. One man looks like Sheridan paces back and forth outside a closed door. Inside the closed door, we hear a "push!" and then a baby is born, and the midwife comes out and says, "It's a ..." and the dream ends.

Wondering about the elixir of power. Oathar and Imre are at an inn, drinking. The bartender says "what will you have?" They want "mother's milk". They drink it down and demand more! The bartender is instructed to kick it up a notch. They get bigger ones and then drink it down and demand more. They kick it up another notch and the bartender reached under the bar and opens a glowing crystal vial and pours out a strange viscous substance into their drinks and they drink it and say, "Oh yeah! That's the stuff!"

Wondering about the black orchid champion, he sees a dark and stormy night with a dark forbidding castle. In the tower a single light appears. The light flickers and a flurry of bats circle the tower. a wolf howls in the distance. The wind moans. Chains clank, etc. As he approaches the castle, he see the shadow of a looming dark figure. AS he reaches the door, it opens silently and he steps inside and feels no warmth. He hears a voice chanting dark and terrible syllables. Up a set of stairs and into a library where there stands three men. Each has a book. a young man, a middle aged man, and an wizened old man. The young man says "I am the face". The middle man says, "I am the power." The ancient man says "I am the spirit." The end.

Orhan 2 Day 39 TE 6064

So we wake up and discuss the dreams.

We realize that the salufa tree is going to be harvested in under a month. In about a month "we" will go there and find it's already been harvested. As it turns out the next night of the thrid moon will be Orhan 3 Day 49. OK, well that's that then.

Oh dear.

So, we have a couple of weeks to kill and we still need to find the candidate.

Haeraan casts commune III

2) should we wait until the solstice to get the salufa juice? yes

3) is someone else planning to get the salufa juice this year? yes

Alynna dreams "where was the champion born?"

She stands outside on a dark hilltop and charon is bright and red in the sky. There's a typical farmhouse. A woman goes into the hous. Alynna who knows the local language hears them speaking in an unfamilair accent, but can't quite place it.

When she wakes up she talks to Master Gitan and find out that she heard a Thosquan accent. Thouque is the sacred home of the god Ramoth, god of Order and Commerce. Oather is intrigued. Religious and statutary laws are enforced with zeal.

Orhan 2 Day 43 TE 6064

We get to Thosque. They ask us why we are here, and we say we are tourists. They are very suspicious. We get in anyways. There's a temple of Ramoth. Oathar buys a holy book of Ramoth.

We start exploring.

Alynna and Oathar go to the temple again to see if they can read the book of laws. The place is filled with regulations. Half of our stuff is illegal. They've also got a god of justice, efrys, and a god of wealth, pylon (He just wants half.) Gywnn is the lord of skies, and his wife Bessida is goddes of the night sky. There are five evil gods of chaos, Chast of lock, grosa of storms, bitfa of war, ochen of flames, and ream of plague and filth.

Oathar gets a holy book of Pylon. it's about conservative wealth keeping. Kyrik decides the library is junk.

Alynna asks for a dream about what the champion is doing now. Haeraan asks for a dream about the religious dissident in the area.

Thinking about the champion, Alynna finds that she gets a stag in the wood hunting montage sort of thing, with a lot less violence than normal.

Thinking about the dissident, Haeraan finds himself a mouse who i slooking for the one true cheese. A cat appears! He's cut off from his mouse hole. He runs around and hides beneath stuff. Now there are cats everywhere searching for him. But still he must find the Cheese! He suddenly see sit way high up on a table. He concots a crazy jumping plan to get to teh cheese. should he do it, or not?

Orhan 2 Day 47 TE 6064

We go to see the elves. They are far.

When we get to the forest we notice that we are being scryed by a priest of Ramoth who has been following us.
