Class of 2002

Gregory Dennis
Andover, MA

"Coming from Andover, Massachusetts, a town less then 30 minutes our of Boston, Greg qualifies as another one of PhiSig's ""townies."" In class, he assumes the role of a dedicated computer science major. Outside of classes, Greg likes to listen to electronica. To pay the bills, he works for a lab at MIT which designs and builds distance learning courses. Between school and work, Greg also finds time to serve as the house's Webmaster--so if this web page sucks, he's to blame."

Charlie Gonzalez
Staten Island, NY

Ever hear of Wednesday Night Cheese? That's the name of Charlie's ska band he began while in high school in New York. Since joining PhiSig, Charlie has proven himself an active participant in house activities, having been involved in both the social nd rush departments, as well as being an avid intramural athlete. He has a taste for spicy food, ska music, and is rarely found without his beret. A Mechanical Engineering major, Charlie dreams of one day designing rollercoasters.

David Nguyen
Atlanta, GA

Calling Dave talkative might be an understatement. Both an outspoken and dedicated member of PhiSig. He likes to "wine and dine" the ladies, but cross his path and youll hear his two hour lecture on cock-blocking. On the soccer field, he's nearly unstoppable and has captained our A-League IM soccer team to a championship and 2nd place finish.
Gaddy Weissman
East Brunswick, NJ

If the Simpsons are on TV, you can be sure Gaddy's watching. Give him an episode, and he'll recite a line from it verbatim. When he's not watching the Simpsons, he's an active member of the MIT Lacrosse team, playing on our championship A-League intramural soccer team, or studying computer science. Gaddy is also very dedicated to his conservative Judaism and manages to keep the Jewish dietary laws known as Kosher.
Lance Tamashiro
Waipahu, HI

Before coming to MIT, Lance had never seen a snowfall. By now, he's sick of them. He's got a laid back personality, which manifests itself in both a relaxed attitude and casual dress (he's often found wearing sandals and flowered shirts). Since joining PhiSig, he's been an active participant in both the social and community service departments. Lance is an aspiring environmental engineer and hopes to one day return to Hawaii to work there.
Winston Wang
Albany, NY

Winston likes to sleep and eat . . . a lot. When he's not sleeping or eating, he serves as one of PhiSig's in-house geniuses, serving up complicated solutions to difficult 6.042 proofs in minutes. On his creative side, Winston plays both violin and trumpet and enjoys listening to jazz and ska. This past term Winston served as the house's purchasing manager, as well as a member on our championship A-league intramural Ultimate Frisbee team.
Liam Bossi
East Falmouth, MA

Liam is a leader on many fronts, both in and outside of the house. He helped lead our A-League intramural Ultimate frisbee team to a championship. And he’s a leader in his class as well, as he pursues a degree in chemical engineering with a possible minor in material science. After graduating, Liam hopes to work in sports technology or national defense. Liam has quite an eclectic music taste, enjoying everything from gangsta rap, to both classic and hard rock.
Brian Goldberg
Bloomfield Hills, MI

Brian Goldberg, or simply Goldberg as he's known to most brothers, is a die-hard sports fan. Being from Michigan, he especially enjoys following the Redwings and Wolverines. However sports aren't his only love. He is also very dedicated to PhiSig, hold ing several positions in the house and playing on many of our intramural teams. Brian is majoring in physics with electrical engineering. To relax, he enjoys listening to James Taylor and the Barenaked Ladies.
Ryan Zeidan
Grand Rapids, MI

"When it comes to stereo speakers, Ryan's philosophy is ""the more, the merrier."" His car stereo alone pumps out 158 decibels. On the rugby field Ryan is a brutal and relentless athlete. In the house he's a motivated member of both the social and commissary departments. And in the classroom he shows the makings of a great chemical engineer. He's also a big fan of rap music, a great brother to his siblings back home, and a devout Muslim."
Luke Tomycz
Flint, MI

Luke is one of those rare individuals who seems to excel at everything. Athletically, he serves as an integral part of the MIT varsity tennis team. Scholarly, he’s a studious math major who intends to go pre-med. Muscially, he is an spectacular guitarist. Fraternally, he’s showed his devotion to PhiSig by participating in both the social and commissary departments.
