Classy, funky, earthy, shy, soulful. All of these qualities are embodied in Joya's songs and in her voice. Joya's smooth, soulful pipes will take you on emotional ride through the music of Bjork, Aretha Franklin, Cyndi Lauper as well as jazz standards and joya originals. Joya can be heard on indie label YellowRose Music Worldwide's compilation album "Women Get YaSelf Up." She also performs as a gospel and classical soloist for the Cathedral of Saint Paul in downtown Boston.
