How to Apply

Choose the Right Company

The list of participating companies has been finalized, but the projects have not been. Listed on the website and presented during the kick-off event are the kinds of business problems and questions that the companies want answered. Once a team is formed, it is very likely that the exact project and project scope will be tailored to the skillset and desire of the team. We encourage everyone to apply to as many companies (up to 3) as they find interesting.

Submit an Application

Applications consist of two documents that should be e-mailed in .pdf or .doc format to ventureships@gmail.com by 11:59PM, Monday, Feburary 20th, 2012:

  • A brief cover letter OR paragraph that contains the companies/projects they would like to be considered for (up to three), and why the candidates think they will be a good fit. If submitting applications for multiple companies, candidates must rank preferences.

  • An up-to-date resume

    • Problems or Questions If you have any problems or questions in submitting an application, please e-mail kailiao[at]mit.edu.
