Authors
should be aware that we plan to publish a proceedings of extended abstracts
and a collection of passive acoustics research summaries in both print
and Web-based format. A copy of the proceedings and other printed matter
will be provided to all registered workshop participants. Additional copies
will be made available at a nominal charge.
All document submissions
should be in a Word document format. Send submissions to Grace Lee at

Extended
Abstract: Extended
abstracts of all the papers presented at the workshop are required by
the end of May. A template for the extended abstract is given below:
Guidelines:
2-5
pages long
Figures in black and white or grey-scale may be included but must
be kept within this space limitation.

Program
Summary: The Program Summaries are intended to describe work
in progress by participants in the workshop. They do not have to be linked
to presented papers. They are intended to publicize the work being done
in passive acoustics.
Guidelines:
Use simple
language, without jargon.
1 to 2 pages long and may include color illustrations.
Introduce and give background to the work being done, describe past,
current or future projects, or describe how passive acoustics are being
used.
Emphasize the value or significance of work in passive acoustics.
