Transportation

Since we are assembling the house beside a railway at MIT, we plan to use rail as our method of transport. The total distance between Cambridge and Washington, DC is 439 miles (or 423,661 Smoots); transport by railway is much more environmentally friendly and energy efficient than transport by truck. The only downside is that rail transport may expose the house to vibrations which will destroy the joints of the house. To solve this problem, we are considering a method of vibrational isolation. However, even if our plan does not work, all the team members will travel to Washington by rail.
