PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Students working on this project designed a new handcycle frame that is lighter and stronger than existing models. They also produced a material comparison chart that compares commonly available steel sizes through metrics such as strength/weight, stiffness/weight, etc. Although this project was not directly continued in Africa during the summer of 2007, elements of it were used in the 2-speed tricycle project.
