We are always looking for new members. We're planning to learn lots of new music, and to perform around Boston and beyond, so strap yourselves in and hold on to your hats....

Spring 2012

If you're interested in singing with us, drop us a line at techiya at mit dot edu to schedule an appointment or for more information.

At the audition, we'll do some warm-ups, teach you one of our songs, and ask you to perform a short segment of a solo song of your choice (any song is appropriate, it does not need to be anything related to Jewish music). It's simple and takes about 10 minutes. See you there!

Who can join?

Anyone can join Techiya! We especially encourage freshmen and sophomores to audition, but you don't have to be an MIT student to join. You don't even have to be Jewish. All members of the MIT community, and the greater Boston community, are eligible. Vocal training or musical experience is not required.
