Training Options

MIT's training providers offer a wide range of training to meet the needs of both staff and students. You may be seeking training for any of the following reasons:

  • to better fulfill the current or future requirements of your job
  • to advance your professional goals
  • to brush up your skills or to learn new ones
  • to explore new professional avenues
  • to satisfy regulatory requirements

Some of the departments that offer training at MIT include the following:

Classroom training. To browse and sign up for one or more of the many courses available to you in a live classroom setting, go to the MIT online course catalogue: http://web.mit.edu/sapwebss/PS1/training_home.shtml.

Web-Based Training. Key courses that particularly lend themselves to a convenient, on-line format are also available to you. Web-based training courses are available any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. In many cases, web-based training courses are intended to supplement, not replace, the instructor-led courses. To explore your web-based training options, or to fulfill regulatory training online, simply follow the link below to the type of training that you require.

If you have any questions about the training options available to you, please contact the Training Registrars group at training@mit.edu.
