Training Options

MIT's training providers offer a wide range of training to meet the needs of both staff and students. You may be seeking training for any of the following reasons:

  • to better fulfill the current or future requirements of your job
  • to advance your professional goals
  • to brush up your skills or to learn new ones
  • to explore new professional avenues
  • to satisfy regulatory requirements

Some of the departments that offer training at MIT include the following:

Classroom training. To browse and sign up for one or more of the many courses available to you in a live classroom setting, visit the MIT Learning Center.

Web-Based Training. Key courses that particularly lend themselves to a convenient, on-line format are also available to you. Web-based training courses are available any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. In many cases, web-based training courses are intended to supplement, not replace, the instructor-led courses. To explore your web-based training options, or to fulfill regulatory training online, simply follow the link below to the type of training that you require.
