How do I make my pages more search friendly?
- Create "blocks" of information, rather than long documents.
- Specify a title relevant to your content.
- Don't use frames. But if you HAVE to, create navigation systems
that repeat in both the navigation frame and the content frame.
Ultraseek treats
well-coded content frames as individual documents. This means that
the content of framed sites is indexed, but when a user selects a
result, it does not show the full frame set.
- Don't use symbolic links; use redirects in your HTML. Example.
- Use meta tags and other labels on your pages.
- Note recommendations of W3.org
