Major Events:

Characters represented by players at this run: Cailin, Calla, Ilk and Jean.

Moon Patrol

Jean, in Thelbane, tells Shiryu about the problems with the dome and moon over Amber. Shiryu is quite upset about the moon bleeding and someone not having told him about it. He tells Marial that he'll be right back, and vanishes.

Shiryu shows up near the hole in the dome. Ilk pours himself out and pretends to be the Savior of Chaos. The grey guy who follows Neville around is with Shiryu, and is being yelled at by Shiryu.

Ilk reports to Shiryu, who points out a few more things. Ilk goes back out into the Sea of Chance, and checks on such things normally foreign to his mind set such as distance and speed.

Shiryu goes over to check out the moon. He's not pleased. Jean explains the situation with the stairs and Tir being temporarily crooked. Shiryu wonders if Oberon was in Tir at the time. Jean asks Dworkin if they should save the blood for Oberon. Dworkin is not interested in helping Oberon, and suggests burning the blood, in the hopes that the blood will burn Oberon, too. Shiryu requests a durable or an expendable mage to burn the blood.

Jean goes to the Mages Guild. Jenoir is not in; Jean talks to Amaranth. After some time, they generate three candidates.

"The most recent Realms Lord" is sent by Shiryu to gather the first candidate.

The sucker is in a Black Zone kingdom, and appears to be an old Chaosian. He claims to have been around when Dworkin drew the Pattern. The guy gathers his stuff and yells goodbye to his wife. He pulls something out of a chest. It's a almost clear, congealed teardrop, with a hint of something inside it. The impurity is slowly swimming through it. The teardrop seems to ward off the Logrus. The mage puts the amulet around his neck. His shape shimmers a bit, then solidifies and becomes significantly more real. He might actually be an Old Lord.

Jean whales him to Amber. The whale has a bit of difficulty moving the guy. He flies up to Shiryu and abases himself.

Shiryu: "You. Of all of the mages, they had to pick you... Your mission, should you be stupid enough not to reject it..."

The mage indicates that he has something to deal with the problem, and strokes the amulet.

Shiryu: "So, the unicorn let you keep that, did he?"

"I'd like to see him bloody-well take it!"

The mage flies over to the moon, sits on a Jean, and starts conjuring and weaving spells.

In Gwen's Mountain

Calla chastises Neville for spiking the guards before acquiring information out of them.

Neville goes to check on the room with the painting. Calla decides to investigate the guards' patterns. Calla hears footsteps; she and Jean hide. Jean tries to mind wipe the guy, and fails. Calla drops on the guy, who is incanting and becoming insubstantial. Jean zips back and forth through his head repeatedly. The body vanishes, leaving only blood stains and grey matter behind. They are annoyed.

Jean asks a number of people for mind-wiping spells, and is lent a mage by Amaranth.

The mage is fished in, and traces the disappearing guy. Neville volunteers to go through and kill the guys on the other side.

Calla tries to persuade Neville to not kill them, but to interrogate them.

In Thelbane

Cailin goes to talk to King Caine of Chaos. After some time, he manages to drag Caine off to talk in private. Cailin tells Caine that the dragons in Toram's lands want to talk with him about desecrating some of their stuff. They must have seen him. Caine is annoyed - he must be getting sloppy in his old age. Caine tells Cailin that he wasn't alone - the Savior of Chaos was there, too. When Cailin confirms that the dragons didn't mention Ilk, Caine seems irritated. "They didn't see him? Sneaky bastard."

In Gwen's Mountain

Calla, Jean, and the mage follow the disappeared guy. There's nobody there - just lots of small wildlife in cages.

Jean mind-wipes a lemur. The lemur is pretty smart - the only reason that he's still in the cage is that the lizard keeps ratting on him to the mage. Jean summons the head of the Fenris Wolf to destroy the lizard.

When everyone else leaves, the Jean-lemur starts killing the caged rabbits.

Negotiations With Dragons

Caine ponders sending a token/ambassador/spy to the dragons. Cailin tries to impress Caine with the urgency of the situation.

Caine talks about sending Martin to the dragons as a token.

Caine - "You will go do heroic deeds... or at least survive."

Martin - "Do I get a head start?"

Caine - "No, you'll do it voluntarily."

Cailin opens a gate to Toram's lands, and talks with a dragon. The dragon is haughty, as are most dragons, and refuses to hold any sort of meaningful dialog with a lesser being.

Cailin considers dragging in an Old Lord to cut the dragon down to size. Martin refuses to fetch an Old Lord, but does have a Jean sent through the gate. Cailin implies that the current King of Chaos is the dragon's target; the dragon reaches a claw into Cailin's gate and rips it wide open. A Jean-saucer drops near Martin and tells him to run away, but to still be locatable. Martin scampers off.
