Ilk and Etienne chat. Etienne has learned how to fix his shields so that they won't destroy him if they are breached. The activity outside has increased by a factor of 5 to 7, and the pyramid has started churning out leaves. Primal leaves, more Real than anything else here. Ilk posts a note to Shiryu on the Realms Lord board, but he is busy, so Ilk has one of his apprentices examine a leaf. It actually takes some doing to extract a leaf

Flora trumps Cailin. They discuss the impending wedding.

There is a new note on the Realms Lord wall from Marial, stating that she is going to take a vacation, that her apprentice is capable of standing in for her, and that in case of emergencies she will be checking the wall on a regular basis.

Cailin receives a trump call from Mandor. Mandor tells Cailin that there have been political maneuvering against his House. His House has apparently taken umbrage against House Chanicut, and his House second is missing.

Cailin tells Beldin that they need to return to Chaos to deal with politics, and explains to Cagliostro's mage that they will be going somewhere else for a bit, and that he shouldn't touch any marbles.

Beldin gates the group to the front porch of House Moonlight.

They talk to the doorman, then enter the house. Cailin reads his messages.

Beldin gates the group back out into shadow. Cailin conjures a Saruman, who fails to read the bibliomantic token. Beldin refuses to read the token, so Cailin and Natasha read it. They find themselves in front of an assassin with drawn weapons. They are shown to a room, where they take a nap.

A few hundred yards away, Geryon, the archivist, the balloon, and Ilk are near a Chaos beast.

The door man comes by with one of the other door guards to say hi.

The guy challenges the entire Assassins Guild, and a healer is called in to repair him.

Geryon, the archivist, and Geryon's balloon go to House Moonlight, where the archivist sticks the balloon to a wall.
