Computer Stuff
Warning: Most of the links on this page were collected during the
early 90s, when any presence on this new-fangled "world wide web" thing
was worthy of note. By now, it's just a disordered list of links that
shrinks every time I trim out the dead or parked pages.
- Cygwin is a fairly
successful attempt to provide a real Uni*x-style command-line
environment onto a dos box.
- DOS sucks! I vastly prefer Macs
over PCs running mickey$oft
operating systems. For all you other mac fans out there, here's a giant
list of Macintosh ftp sites. Warning - I have
no idea how many of those sites are still active - I acquired the list
before this new-fangled "world wide web" became popular.
