So it ended up that I was the last person to get picked up and the
first person to get dropped off. The limo pulled up in front of my
house, and I asked Gordon to come walk me to my door. He sort of
yawned a little, but he quickly sat up and walked up the driveway with
me.
"Thanks for the lovely evening," I said to him, not really knowing what else to say. I knew I couldn't invite him in or anything, but I didn't want the evening to end. "Don't mention it," he said, and gave a little bow. I threw my arms around his neck while he was bent over and gave him a good night kiss. This time he kept his mouth closed--others might think it was because he was tired or worried about being spotted by our friends or my mom, but I think he wanted us to slow down a little bit. No problem, I thought, because I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for this stud. When we were done, he gave me a little pat on the head. I smiled, said bye to him, and walked up the steps to my door. I watched him turn around and get into the back of the limo before I unlocked the door, and I didn't go inside until the limo had turned the corner at the end of the block. So, all in all, I'd have to say that this was a great evening. I think I'll drop by the salad shop tomorrow and visit Gordon and Wendy. | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
