By leveraging predictive analytics, healthcare providers can anticipate disease outbreaks, deliver personalized treatment plans, and optimize hospital operations. Emulated clinical trials, on the other hand, offer a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional clinical trials, enabling researchers to simulate and analyze clinical outcomes using existing data.

Dr. Osborne and his teams have uncovered insights and developed innovative tools that have changed the practice of medicine. His work is published in leading medical journals on topics such as cancer, infectious disease, neurologic disorders, surgery, pain and anxiety, falls, elder care, determinants of health, telehealth, diagnostics, predictive analytics, value-based care, population health, drug repurposing, cost savings, access, efficiencies, employee morale, strategy, health risk, and safety. He has been collaborating broadly with other leaders in industry, nonprofits, and government, and together they have positively transformed healthcare by reimaging processes and leveraging the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 5G, sensor technology, wearables, robotics, augmented reality, and virtual reality.

Dr. Osborne received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at Harvard hospitals. He has been an advisor and mentor to other healthcare leaders for most of his career. He is also a Clinical Professor at Stanford (adjunct) in the Department of Neurosurgery.
