Notes on Quotation Marker

Kansai people tend to drop the quotation marker と (Note that dropping って／と is ungrammatical in the standard.)

パパに宿題(しゅくだい)もうした、言(ゆ)うて。 （ST 宿題(しゅくだい)はもうしたって言 (い)って。）

しよ思(おも)たけどせえへんかった。 （ST しようと思(おも)ったけどしなかっ た。）

Therefore, XというY tends to become Xいう／ゆうY in Kansai. (XちゅうY is also commonly used. ちゅう is a concentrated form of という.)

あの会社(かいしゃ)、何(なん)ちゅうたかなあ。 （ST 何(なん)て言(い)ったかなあ）

さやさちゃん言(い)う子(こ)から電話(でんわ)あったで。(ST さやさちゃんって言(い)う子(こ)か ら電話(でんわ)あったよ。）
