We brave the dangers of the bladestorm.

We spend a few days.

There are the usual bug mount vendors.

Haeraan buys a rare metals marble set.

Oathar buys a +10 Vaanum dagger. Whoa. He also buys 14 6 oz. bloodstones. And an oz of Kregora.

We also buy a bunch of Xenium.

Oathar invests 10K and the Mutual Fund invests 2.5k in trade goods.

Orhan 5 Day 6 TE 6065

The day dawns grey and cloudy. There's a storm on the horizon. Haeraan thinks there's a 50/50 chance of deadly missile or rain.

There's a clinking "rain"storm that night. We stay indoors.

A set of four Alynna-tall figures head into the common room of the inn that evening. We suspect jewel knights. They will give us access to a jewel well if we bring them the heads 15 breathless before two days are out. OK, they didn't actually say that. But it was strongly implied.

So Oathar finds a native guide to explain how to avoid the breathless. Then he plans to reverse all of that.

Orhan 5 Day 7 TE 6065

We get our riding beetles and ride out into the desert. Oathar finds a metal figurine of a fish. It transforms itself into a fish. It will swim around a let you see through it's eyes for an hour a week.

Blinky appears and starts making side commentary to Kyrik, If it's breathless we want, he can totally take care of that. No one else wants to talk to or about Blinky, especially Imre. The music from the sorceror's apprentice starts up. We buff.

A set of chariots starts rumbling towards us. We prepare for battle. six on chariots form the north, six ridign the wind from the south, six bouncing over the land from a east, six gated in by blinky from the west.

Imre says, "Remember kids, the breathless are totally immune to mentalism and channeling." No wind attacks either.

We break and charge the four groups simultaneously.

Oathar opens up at 150 feet with a cold ball on his group.

Kyrik takes the gate group. Oathar the ground group. Haeraan/Imre on the chariots, Alynna on the windriders.

Haeraan gets first kill with an amazing head strike.

We fight! We're doing OK, then the breathless start great vacuuming. It sucks.

We continue the fight.
