Welcome to my website! I am an MD-PhD student at Harvard Medical School's Health Sciences and Technology (HST) and the Program in Neuroscience PhD Program. I completed my PhD with Professor Bernardo Sabatini studying internal state modulation of striatal dopamine signaling. I am interested in being an anesthesiologist-scientist, treating patients in the operative setting while using my research background in systems neuroscience to better understand and repurpose anesthetics and understanding how pain reshapes neural circuitry.
Before HMS, I was at MIT doing my Bachelor's of Science degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences. I did my Master's also at MIT in Biomedical Engineering with Professor Douglas Lauffenburger and Professor Bradley Hyman of the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center .
