Rambax MIT is an ensemble dedicated to learning the art of sabar. Founded in 2001 and directed by master drummer Lamine Touré, Rambax MIT consists of MIT students, alums, and members of the MIT community. 

In Senegal, the sabar ngoon is an afternoon dance party that brings together members of the community to dance, laugh, and have fun. Come join the dance party and get ready to participate! 

This is an outdoor concert to take place at the W18 d'Arbeloff Family Plaza Ensemble at 201 Amherst Street. [Rain location: Thomas Tull Hall.]
