Planting

 

 1) These are plant species that are currently existing on the site. Many of these species are not native to the West Philadelphia area.

2) Row of planted grey birch trees used to filter and soften the edge upon arrival from Haverford St.

3) These are areas where mounds of rubble are transformed into homes for species belonging to the site to take seed and grow. (sketch)

4) Freshwater wetland plants near the edges of the retention basin.

5) Row of sycamores that are planted on top of the berm. They provide shade for those watching the golf.

6) Mostly consists of species currently on the site but also new ones that could be used for the southerly expansion of the park.
