My narrative of the Mill Creek first started with the struggle of the control of nature between man and nature herself. Man has consistently waged war against the Mill Creek instead of working with it. Nature in turn has been fighting back, but with more patience than man. This concept really is about the materials of the Mill Creek and how the miniature golf course can begin to inform the visitors about their own neighborhood. This is brought about by bringing the materials from the area into the golf course, using them in an abstract fashion so they are taken out of context and then are consciously returned to the neighborhood through the minds of the visitors after their experience in the golf course. |
