litterfall - how measure
 -conical traps - test weekly during rainy, bimonthly during dry season
 -test for diff nutrients over 2 yrs
 -collect anything -take out animal material, dry, grind up, do chemical analysis
 -can do either variation  from place to place or over time or whatever

  can’t make new staple crop because cant take the nutrients away
 -regrowth/replanting
  but its hard to restart an already cleared ecosystem
 -socioeconomic - no funds
